North Carolina

Beware...this post has a plethora of pictures. Don't say I didn't warn you. Anyway, we traveled over to the coast of North Carolina in June for my Grandmother's 80th birthday. My Dad's side of the family all came and we had a blast! This was Megan's first time on a plane and she did great even though she had an ear infection. :( Ella loved playing in the sand, swimming in the pool, and dancing to any kind of music she heard. The girl was a dancing machine that weekend. It was wonderful catching up with family from all over. I think they said we had 8 or 9 states represented that weekend. So happy, happy birthday to my Nana! We love you very much!!

Hiatus

Sorry guys! We're on a little bit of a hiatus. The computer has broken so until we get that fixed no pictures. I will tell you that we've sold our house!! We close on Aug 2 so we are getting busy trying to pack up the past 5 years. We are in the process of looking for land to buy and then build on. We're excited as to what the future is going to bring us. Until then...

Look at those pearly whites!!!

Move over...it's my turn to drive!

These two girls just melt my heart!

Gone Fishing

Jeremy and his Dad took Ella fishing for the first time last weekend. And just to give you a little background...for Ella's first birthday Jeremy's Dad and Stepmom bought Ella a lifetime hunting and fishing license. So needless to say Jeremy and PaPaw have been waiting for the day to take Ella fishing. There's a little pond across the street from PaPaw's house so they took her fishing there. She didn't last too long but at least she did catch a fish.

So how does this thing work?

Telling PaPaw of the big fish she caught. Already telling those "huge fish stories". Sign of a true fisherman.

Angler Baby

Her expression just cracks me up. Take a look at the fish she caught!

Sunset Symphony

We went down to the Sunset Symphony this year. As soon as we get there though it starts to rain, lightning, and thunder. Thank goodness it didn't last long though or else I would have been high-tailing it out of there. KC and the Sunshine Band was fun to listen to as well. And there was also an air show. I have never seen one before and it was awesome. I couldn't believe some of the stuff that they could do in the air. Amazing! Ella wasn't a fan of the fireworks either. She had her hands over her ears the whole time. And Megan didn't mind them at all. But we had some nice family fun!

Tell us how you really feel Megan

These next couple of pictures is what I would get from Ella when I told her to smile for the camera.

She was dancing for me.

Hey Megan...open your eyes.

Passed out!

Poor thing couldn't take it anymore and gave up.

Mexico Part 2

We just celebrated our 5 year anniversary in Mexico. We stayed at The Royal in Playa Del Carmen. It was fabulous! It was all-inclusive which means you can eat and drink all you want to and we didn't have to lift a finger. I think we both gained 10 lbs a piece. Yikes! The first day that we got there Jeremy twisted his neck/back and couldn't move. So we had to call the Mexican doctor to come "fix" him up. He was good as new the next day so that was nice. We also attended mass on Sunday. So that was a neat cultural experience. We also visited the Mayan Ruins in Tulum. We had a spa and golf day. And we had plenty of beach and pool time. So we had a wonderful time just the two of us.
