Racing for the Cure

Talk about busy! We have had so much going on this month. This past Saturday we did the race for the cure in Germantown. We did this race in honor of my mother and for all the people that are dealing or have dealt with breast cancer. Let me just say how proud of my mother I am...she is battling her third round of breast cancer and you would never know it (except for the bald head :)). She is so strong and courageous and it is an honor to be called her daughter. She just finished her last round of chemo so lets hope that fixed it for good. Mom, I love you and I hope that I can be as good a mother as you have been to me. Keep on fighting!!

It's not very often we get a picture of just the two of us

I'm tired from all this walking...I think I'll sit on the finish line

Nope, I'll keep moving...

Ella wanted to make sure her Nannie knew how proud of her she was..

Zoo Boo

This past Saturday night we went to the Memphis Zoo to take part in their annual Zoo Boo. We went with a big group of friends which always makes it fun. Ella didn't have a good nap that day so she was definitely sleepy, but she was a trooper. Poor thing fell asleep before we even made it out of the parking lot headed home. But isn't she the cutest Daisy Duck you've ever seen? Daisy doesn't have anything compared to this girl. I did hear one comment from a lady as we were strolling through the zoo..."Oh...look at that chicken, isn't she cute?" Seriously...chicken? Some people are funny.

Rolling the House

Whenever you have a quiet house, you know something must be going on...

Notice how she has it wrapped around her

Pumpkin Patch

Well we went to the pumpkin patch today. It was pretty picked over so we didn't have too much luck finding a nice one. So we cheated and went to the fruit stand and bought the pretty ones that were already picked. MeMe and PaPa Crow got to meet us which is always a nice treat. Ella wasn't in the best of moods so it was hard to get a nice picture out of her, but we tried anyway. Also, I posted a lot on here tonight. So make sure you scroll down and see the other new posts below.

Family picture

How much did you say that pumpkin was!?!

Playing patty cake with MeMe

Look at that face

Still has a bruise on her forehead

It's hard walking in the patch in my styling sandals.

Not a good picture of Ella...but a great picture of MeMe. She just was not going to cooperate.

Children's Museum

We took Ella to the Children's Museum the other weekend. And although it was still a little too old for her she had a great time watching everyone around her.

I think I found Daddy. He's clogging up the heart artery.

I just couldn't resist taking this one. Look at those yummy legs! She was watching all the older kids on stage.

Trying to make her escape

Move over Daddy. Let me show you how it's done.

Trying to steal the crayons from the exhibit.

I think I need a smaller seat.

Bumps and Bruises

Lord, bless this child as she walks because people are going to start wondering about her parents with all the black and blues she's getting.

Notice the nice mark on the cheek...(fell into the dresser)

The bruise on her forehead is looking a little better.

She got a bruise on her forehead and scrapes on her cheek and nose from throwing a tantrum at school.

Tanner Kisses

This girl LOVES to give Tanner kisses. He gets the big open mouth slobbery kisses that everyone else gets too.
