Mommy kisses

Hanging out with Uncle Ryan

We had a wonderful first Christmas with Ella! Here are some pictures from the week.

Rudolph Kisses

We went into Ella's room on Christmas morning and found that Rudolph had come in during the night and gave our little Ella a kiss on the cheek!

Ella Update

Well, we had Ella's 4 mo. checkup this past Friday. We are a couple weeks late doing it, but thats okay. She did really well. She now weighs 16.8 lbs, and is 25 1/2 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile for her height and 95th percentile for her weight. So she's right where she was 2 months ago. She also had 4 shots in the leg and had to swallow one. No pictures this time as Daddy was at work and Mommy couldn't handle taking pictures and trying to comfort her at the same time. But she screamed when she got them and as soon as it was over she was smiling away at me. She was such a brave little girl.

She's also talking up a storm. Jeremy and I swore she said da-da-da the other day. But we just love our little conversations we have with her. And she is almost rolling over. We think it'll happen any day.

As we get ready to celebrate Ella's first Christmas, we are just reminded of all the blessings we have received this year. We hope everyone has a blessed and safe Christmas and we look forward to what 2008 has in store for us. Merry Christmas to all!!

Beautiful Eyes

Look at these beautiful eyes she has...thanks to Daddy. Here are some pictures we took the other day. It's been a little rough in the Parker household this past week. Ella came down with bronchiolitis caused by RSV, which is NOT fun! She was having a hard time breathing so she's been doing breathing treatments to help her. Its definitely getting better, but its so hard seeing her like that. She was sleeping 10-11 hours straight but now that she's been sick she's up constantly. So we're hoping she gets back into the groove of things soon.
She's also starting to try and roll over. She'll get half way and then stop. Cereal is still a no go with her. She HATES it! I can't blame her because it even smells gross. I'm trying to mix it with some applesauce and that seems to help a little, but she really won't eat much. Also when we went to the doctor last week she weighs 16 lbs and 1 oz, so she's definitely a healthy girl. But we are very excited about the upcoming holidays. We'll post some Christmas pictures soon.

First Cereal

Well we had our first cereal feeding last night. She did not seem too excited with it as you can tell from these pictures. So we had a few bites and then decided to try it again tomorrow.

Thanks to Uncle Philip...

Look at what Uncle Philip has been teaching our child....we look over at
her yesterday drinking her bottle and this is what we see.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Well the Parker family had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We had a new member to the family celebrating with us and it was absolutely wonderful. Daddy did have to work today, but thats okay. We went up to the fire station and hung out with him for a little while. Ella didn't get to partake in any turkey and stuffing, but her bottles sure were yummy. We heard her first hearty laugh last week and it was the best sound I've ever heard. It melted my heart. Also we will be starting to eat some cereal on Sunday. So check back later for pictures from that adventure. We hope everyone had a safe and joyous holiday today!

Rolls Galore

My daughter will probably hate me for this one day, but this is my job. For those of you that don't get to see Ella very often...she is the yummiest baby ever. Look at these rolls!!!!

Thank you Nana and Aunt Debbie!

She was watching football. Mommy and Daddy are excited about that one.

We would like to thank Nana and Aunt Debbie for buying Ella the rainforest jumper. We set it up for her and she just loves it! On another note, everyone in the Parker house is adjusting well to Mommy being back to work. Ella's having a good time with Daddy during the day. However, Ella will be starting the daycare the Monday after Thanksgiving, so say a little prayer for Mommy and Daddy. And everyone in the Parker house has been sick. Even Ella...she has her first runny nose. She's handling it very well. No extra crankiness, just an upset baby when I use the nose plunger. She can't stand it! But overall everyone is getting better and just looking forward to the holidays coming up!

Brianna and Pregnancy

Me and my friend Jenny at her shower 2 days before Ella arrived. Can you tell I was over it? :)

This was a couple weeks before Ella arrived.

Well I just realized a lot of you never got to see me pregnant. Not the best site but never the less interesting. Anyway, I had a wonderful pregnancy. No sickness (not once!), just heartburn and major swelling. But as long as I wasn't sick I was doing great. I actually enjoyed it and felt beautiful. Might not have looked it, but definitely felt it. Ha! Anyway here are a couple of pics for everyone to see. The end result is way worth it. It was the best thing I've ever done in my whole entire life!

Cutest Strawberry Ever

Well, Ella was a strawberry for Halloween this year. We strolled her around and went trick-or-treating with our neighbors. She didn't get too excited as she was asleep with 15 minutes of our trick-or-treating journey. But she still had fun and looked adorable.

First Day with Daddy

Since Mommy started back to work this week, Ella has gotten to hang out a whole bunch with Daddy. Ella and Mommy are so proud of Daddy. He's doing a wonderful job!! Here is her first outfit that Daddy dressed her in on Monday. I guess he wanted everyone to know how Ella felt (notice the shirt).

Learning some Head Control and LOVING some hands

Yummy Hands!

"This blue, yellow, and green thing is pretty cool."

Well Ella is getting so much better with her head control. She is trying so hard to pull herself up and starts to get frustrated when she can't. She is also loving her hands. She thinks that they are the yummiest things in the world.

Bath Time

Smiling for Mommy

"I wasn't ready for the water pour!"

"And what are you doing to me now?"

Ella LOVES her bath time. If she's having a cranky day and we stick her in the bath she will immediately become in a better mood. She's starting to learn that she can kick around in the water and splash us everywhere and she's loving that. Here are some pictures of her last bath.
Another note...Mommy starts back to work on Monday so the updates might be a little slower than normal. Ella, Daddy and I have had a wonderful twelve weeks together and we have cherished every moment. I am just so glad and fortunate that I was able to take that time off. I sure am going to miss hanging out with this little girl all day!!!

Ella's Baptism

Ella got baptized this past Saturday, and she was not a happy camper. She was cranky all day and pretty much cried throughout the whole ceremony. But we got through it. We had a lot of family come into town and we were so grateful that they could be there. We also want to thank Aunt Maureen and Uncle Philip for being wonderful Godparents to Ella! And the weather could not have been any better. So, overall, it was a wonderful day and weekend and we just thank the Lord for all his blessings for ourselves and for Ella.
