Sesame Street

We went to go see Sesame Street! I love Sesame Street! It was such a cute show. I think I definitely enjoy it more than the girls. :)

I thought this picture was just funny.

In awe.

That awe quickly faded. Glad you enjoyed it Megan.

My Ella

And just for kicks and giggles, here was Ella the last time we went to see Sesame Street. She was so little!

Happy Birthday Uncle Ryan!!!

It is Uncle Ryan's birthday today!!! Happy Birthday Ry! We love you! We hope you have a wonderful day! The girls' wanted to make sure you knew they were thinking of you today. You are such a wonderful man. You're one of the most generous people I know. I'm so very proud of you! And I know Mom and Dad are too. Hugs and kisses to you on your special day!

Unsupervised

This is what happens when you give them a few minutes of free time while you're trying to put dinner together. Needless to say we ate outside and once we were done went straight to the bath. :)

You know you're from Tennessee when...

Ella was letting the dogs out the back door. When she closed the door I told her to lock it. She said, "So the bad guys don't get us?" We recently had some prisoners on the lose around our town. So she heard that on the news and remembers it. I told her that it was ok because the police had "caught" them. She looks at me with a confused look on her face and says, " with a fishing pole!?!" Oh, the innocence in Tennessee.

Hot Springs

Jeremy and I had a little weekend getaway over to Hot Springs in Arkansas the other weekend. We went with a few other couples and had a blast. It was just nice to get out of town. However, this was the extent of my picture taking. Sad, I know. I just didn't think about taking out the camera. We were able to go to the horse races, which was great. I felt like I was at the Kentucky Derby.

It's still alive!

I'm going to be honest. I was very nervous looking around the funeral home and seeing all of the beautiful flowers and plants. I have a black thumb! I'm not very good at keeping plants alive. Heck, I'm doing good to keep my kids alive. Ha. Just kidding. Dept. of child services, you don't need to come to my house. They're fine. I promise. :) But the plants are all alive and doing well! And it's been over 2 months. And here's the beautiful orchid that some very good friends gave us. Look how beautiful it is. And I've kept it alive!

Who needs a bed rail when you have a wall of stuffed animals?

I know this is soooo late

As I was organizing the other day I came across our Santa photo from December and realized I had never posted it on the blog. So here it is. Excuse the lack of quality. I took a picture of a picture. Mom's scanner is not working. But you get the point. Megan is screaming and reaching for Jeremy and Ella wouldn't touch or come near Santa with a 10 foot pole. I love these memories. :)

OMG...The Hair!

We were hanging out tonight. I was sitting in the recliner and Ella tried to climb up in it and lost her balance. She practically did a somersault, half pike, and slammed her body into the ground. I was fully expecting a cry! Well she composes herself and instead of crying, which I was expecting, brushes herself off and says, "Does my hair look ok!?!" She's too funny!
