Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! Ella was more aware of what was going on and loved unwrapping presents. I found that I definitely didn't take as many pictures as I wanted, but here are a few.

Rudolph came in again this year and gave Ella a kiss on the cheek

Ella LOVES her new shirt!

Yup...that's right...we're expecting another little one come August 10, 2009. I went to the doctor the other day and everything looks great. So we are very excited and Ella has no idea what's about to hit. She'll be a great big sister...we just know it!

Christmas Tree Shopping

Well we went and got a real Christmas tree this year. I was a little skeptical at first. But it turned out really nice, and I'm actually liking it. Here we are at the Christmas tree farm.

Thanksgiving at the Fire Station

Well, we had Thanksgiving this year at the fire station again since Daddy was working. Then Ella and I headed over to my Dad's for some yummy dinner. We had a wonderful time and are so thankful for all the blessings in our life.

Hang on...I got this...

Gosh, we love this girl!

Ella and I had a little photo session the other night. She would sit in my lap and we would take "self-portraits". She thought it was the funniest thing ever. I would take the picture and then show her the screen and she would sit there and just belly laugh. Hysterical! Anyway, not much else going on. Just getting ready for all the holidays. Enjoy the pictures and enjoy the time with your family during this holiday season.

15 Month Checkup

Ella had her 15 month checkup on Friday. She's doing great...weighing in at 25lbs and measuring 31 1/2 inches. They are both in the 75-90th percentile. It was pretty cute...they had her stand on the big girl scale instead of putting her in the baby chair scale. She thought she was big stuff. And as normal she got some more shots...poor baby...but she handled them like a champ!

Racing for the Cure

Talk about busy! We have had so much going on this month. This past Saturday we did the race for the cure in Germantown. We did this race in honor of my mother and for all the people that are dealing or have dealt with breast cancer. Let me just say how proud of my mother I am...she is battling her third round of breast cancer and you would never know it (except for the bald head :)). She is so strong and courageous and it is an honor to be called her daughter. She just finished her last round of chemo so lets hope that fixed it for good. Mom, I love you and I hope that I can be as good a mother as you have been to me. Keep on fighting!!

It's not very often we get a picture of just the two of us

I'm tired from all this walking...I think I'll sit on the finish line

Nope, I'll keep moving...

Ella wanted to make sure her Nannie knew how proud of her she was..

Zoo Boo

This past Saturday night we went to the Memphis Zoo to take part in their annual Zoo Boo. We went with a big group of friends which always makes it fun. Ella didn't have a good nap that day so she was definitely sleepy, but she was a trooper. Poor thing fell asleep before we even made it out of the parking lot headed home. But isn't she the cutest Daisy Duck you've ever seen? Daisy doesn't have anything compared to this girl. I did hear one comment from a lady as we were strolling through the zoo..."Oh...look at that chicken, isn't she cute?" Seriously...chicken? Some people are funny.

Pumpkin Patch

Well we went to the pumpkin patch today. It was pretty picked over so we didn't have too much luck finding a nice one. So we cheated and went to the fruit stand and bought the pretty ones that were already picked. MeMe and PaPa Crow got to meet us which is always a nice treat. Ella wasn't in the best of moods so it was hard to get a nice picture out of her, but we tried anyway. Also, I posted a lot on here tonight. So make sure you scroll down and see the other new posts below.

How much did you say that pumpkin was!?!

Not a good picture of Ella...but a great picture of MeMe. She just was not going to cooperate.
