She was so excited!!! She did great and didn't shed a tear. Can't say the same for Mommy. This was harder for me than leaving her at day care for the very first time. And little sister is not liking her not being around in the mornings. But she is loving Kindergarten and she's going to be such an awesome student. I'm so excited to see what God has in store for her through this journey!
This year we had a combined birthday party. Uncle Ryan was flying into town so we didn't want him to have to choose which party to go to so we combined it. And, boy, did we have a turnout! Thank you to everyone who came to show their love for our babies. They had a blast!! We had a pool party and also rented an inflatable waterside. I don't know who enjoyed that more...the kids or the adults. But make sure you look at the pictures of the slide. The faces being made going down the slide are hysterical.
And then 4 days after Ella's birthday, comes Megan's. I remember being pregnant on Ella's 2 birthday praying that Megan would wait until the day passed. I just wanted my girls' to have their own days. Happy birthday to our Meggers! What a sweet soul she is. Daddy and I love you to the moon and back!!
My baby turned 5 years old on August 6. That means that we are now in Kindergarten! That's crazy. Happy Birthday sweet girl! We love you thiiiiiiiissssss much!
